Security operations run on coverage. Every post needs the right officer at the right time, and when someone calls out at 10:40 PM, the supervisor needs to know who is qualified and available. Security Operations organizes that work around sites, shifts and the people assigned to them.
Who uses it
What it is built to fix
Open shifts are found late
Gaps in the schedule are discovered when a post goes uncovered, not when the schedule is built.
Scheduled is not the same as worked
Paper sign-in sheets and texts make it hard to compare who was scheduled with who actually reported, and for how long.
Post orders drift out of date
Site instructions are printed once, edited by hand and stored in a binder officers rarely open.
What Security Operations covers
Each capability is labeled with its current status, so you know what exists today and what is coming.
Site coverage planning
AvailableDefine the posts and hours each site requires, then see where scheduled coverage falls short.
Shift scheduling
AvailableAssign officers to shifts by site and post, with conflicts and open shifts visible on the board.
Timekeeping
AvailableRecord clock-in and clock-out against the scheduled shift, keeping scheduled hours and approved hours separate.
Time approval
AvailableSupervisors review recorded time and approve hours before they move to payroll and billing.
Post orders
AvailableMaintain current site instructions in one place and tie them to the posts they govern.
Tasks
AvailableAssign one-time and recurring tasks to a site or shift and see when they are completed.
Patrol workflows
AvailableDefine patrol routes and checkpoints and record when each checkpoint is visited.
Equipment
AvailableTrack radios, keys, vehicles and other issued equipment by officer and site.
Covering a call-out on the overnight shift
The scheduled shift, the replacement and the recorded time stay connected.
See the open shift
The call-out leaves the 2300 to 0700 post at the client site visibly uncovered.
Find a qualified replacement
Filter officers who hold the required credentials and are not already assigned.
Acknowledge and clock in
The replacement confirms the assignment and records arrival against that shift.
Approve the hours
Recorded time is reviewed against the schedule before it is approved.
How it works with the rest of ORVATRIX
On mobile
AvailableOfficers see their shifts, acknowledge assignments, clock in and read post orders from ORVATRIX Field.
Supervisors and managers review coverage and open shifts from ORVATRIX Command.
Security Operations FAQ
Straight answers about what it does and where its limits are.
How does ORVATRIX treat scheduled hours versus approved hours?
They are kept separate on purpose. Scheduled hours are the plan, recorded hours are what the officer logged, and approved hours are what a supervisor confirms. Billing and payroll should run from approved hours.
Can officers clock in from their phones?
Yes. Officers clock in and out from ORVATRIX Field, and the time is recorded against the shift they were assigned. Supervisors still approve hours before they move to payroll and billing.
Does it support patrol checkpoints?
Yes. Define patrol routes and checkpoints, and officers record each checkpoint visit from ORVATRIX Field. Ask during your demo which checkpoint hardware fits your sites.
Can I schedule across multiple branches?
Scheduling is organized by operational account, so each branch can manage its own sites while owners see coverage across all of them.
See Security Operations with your own operation in mind.
Bring a real site, a real schedule or a real report. We will show you how ORVATRIX would handle it and be clear about what is available now.
